IKIGAI is a refined 25-metre performance sailing yacht built by JFA and extensively refitted by Vitters Shipyard in 2018. She embodies a rare balance between elegant cruising comfort and exhilarating sailing performance. Designed by the acclaimed Judel/Vrolijk studio, IKIGAI is not only visually striking but also a joy to helm—especially when sailing upwind, where she truly comes into her own.
Crafted in aluminium, she offers a secure and stable cruising experience with long-range capabilities and a lightweight, performance-focused structure.
Elegant Teak Interiors and Thoughtful Layout
The interior is warm, modern, and inviting, with rich varnished teak throughout. The layout is intelligently designed to separate guest and crew areas while maintaining fluidity and comfort across all living spaces.
She accommodates up to eight guests in three cabins, including a full-beam master suite forward and two guest twin cabins, each fitted with additional Pullman beds. The airy saloon and dining area amidships create an inviting environment for socialising or relaxing after a day under sail.
To starboard lies the fully equipped galley and crew mess, while to port is a newly installed high-tech navigation station, perfectly suited for offshore adventure or competitive regattas.
Built for Adventure and Connection
Whether you’re seeking a tranquil retreat or an active experience at sea, IKIGAI is fully outfitted for both. The large transom door opens to a garage where the tender is stored, giving seamless access to the water and simplifying beach landings.
For the active charterer, IKIGAI is equipped with a full kitesurfing set, two dive sets for certified divers, wakeboard-compatible boards, golf equipment, and a range of snorkelling and fishing gear. Hammocks can be strung up for peaceful moments at anchor, adding to the yacht’s relaxed, soulful ambiance.
Performance Meets Purpose
With a cruising speed of 12 knots under power and extraordinary agility under sail, IKIGAI is ideal for guests who appreciate performance and precision. Her clean lines and rigging allow for both competitive racing and serene cruising, and she’s available for racing charters on request.
The 300hp Yanmar engine, supported by a 22kW Mitsubishi generator, ensures reliable systems and operations, whether underway or at anchor.
