  Generators: 2x Cat C7.1 Cruising speed is 10 knots for 200L (with tow of the chase boat) 225L with genset Heeus features a hybrid propulsion system. The propeller is driven by electric motors charged by a bank of batteries. The banks are recharged by high-efficiency, variable-speed DC generators, making docking and mooring easy in the electric mode. Heeus also boasts an enormous fuel capacity of 90,000 litres (23,775 gallons). Equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines, she has a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles in diesel mode at a minimum cruising speed of 10 knots. In 'Silent Mode' navigation up to 2 hours at 7.5 knots or diesel/electric (generator only) for longer extended periods. She is able to navigate for up to 2 hours on battery mode, or can sit all night at anchor using batteries alone when running no propulsion an having only hotel service power load.
