With her traditional lines and Feadship pedigree the 53m/175' MIRAGE epitomises classic superyacht charm yet delve a little deeper and you find interiors and amenities at the highest levels of modern luxury.Built in 1979, motor yacht MIRAGE started out life as the 48m/157’5 DARIA. In 2007, she embarked on an extensive 10 month refit at the Pendennis Shipyard which saw her benefit from a number of major structural and technical upgrades, none more impressive than a five metre extension added on to her transom. The exceptional results of this refit were noted throughout the yachting industry.MIRAGE has also seen extensive changes over the years, having spent her winters at STP Shipyard in Palma, Mallorca. During these winter periods, MIRAGE has seen an entirely new interior, with all guest and crew areas being completely redesigned. Most recently, a brand new state of the art bridge was installed as well as a full external paint job to ensure MIRAGE looks her best for years to come.MIRAGE’s interior represents intricate styling by Design Unlimited. The well-appointed layout of the living and sleeping areas on board is complimented by sleek, contemporary styling. Contrasting wenge and fabric panels create warmth and texture alongside a selection of fine furnishings and fabrics, while an eclectic collection of hand-picked art works adorn the walls.Her outside spaces have been equally well considered, providing wide open areas for guests to relax and enjoy life at sea. A covered al fresco dining area is available for elegant evening meals surrounded by spectacular views, and there is also the option of a more casual dining area if preferred. MIRAGE also boasts a luxury large mosaic jacuzzi on her sundeck, surrounded by sunpads; so get ready to watch the sun set while relaxing with your favourite cocktail...MIRAGE is committed to lowering its impact on the environment by making a conscious effort to reduce its carbon footprint. MIRAGE has signed up to the Clear Oceans Pact, we aim to reduce the dependency of single-use plastics and to eliminate the microplastic pollution that enters our oceans as a direct consequence of a superyacht’s daily operations. MIRAGE has also introduced carbon offsetting which compensates for your carbon emissions by supporting an equivalent reduction of carbon emissions by somebody else. The savings are made through independently approved projects such as renewable energy (which displaces fossil-fuelled power generation), energy saving programmes, or other greenhouse gas reduction projects around the world.
